Special recommendations

While Maytag products are called one of the most reliable electric appliances, some faults are possible. In most cases, a user can easily fix a dishwasher after seeing an error-code on a special display. Information about all breakdowns and errors can be found in a user’s manual. Some recommendations about the correct installation and safe use are also provided in the written manual. That’s why the producer recommends reading instructions carefully before installing or using a washing machine for the first time.

History

Maytag was founded in the USA in 1893. The company was called after its founder Frederick Maytag. Being concentrated on producing home electric equipment: refrigerators, washing machines, and electric stoves, - the company started a line of dishwashers only in 1992 what was almost four decades later than most of Maytag’s competitors.

Nevertheless, high quality of Maytag dishwashers, their reasonable price, and durability of equipment’ steel details quickly made Maytag production popular. A few years after the first line’s launch, Maytag was producing up to 3 thousand dishwashers daily on several production lines.

Later Maytag became one of the first producers who were taking extra care about anti-bacterial and anti-allergen systems in dishwashers. Maytag presented its special technology that allowed washing dishes with less water while making it hotter. As a result, the dishes were cleaner while spends on the water were significantly reduced. Another interesting technology became an automatically closed door. It made washing dishes easier, faster, and more comfortable.

Decades later Maytag became a large international corporation with ten production facilities in five countries and more than 23,000 people working for the company. Today Maytag is owned by Whirlpool. The production of Maytag-branded goods includes all sorts of refrigeration equipment for shops, restaurants, hotels, and other commercial organizations, as well as retail household refrigerators, washing machines, and dishwashers.
