Special recommendations

Beko dishwashers are sensitive to water quality and detergents. It’s important to install and use machines correctly and carefully. All users are advised to read a manual before installation and the first exploitation of a dishwasher.

Most modern Beko machines are equipped with an electronic display and indicators to track time until the end of the operation and set necessary programs easily. In case of faults, an error-code appears on an electronic display of a dishwasher. If a repair cannot be carried out easily, it is recommended to contact the service center.

History

Beko is one of the world’s most recognizable brands that is currently owned by the Turkish company Arcelik. The original company was founded by an engineer Vehbi Koc in 1955 in Turkey. The main aim of the company became the production of good-quality household equipment of economy-class.

The first Beko dishwashing machine was presented in 1996. Beko equipment was highly-rated among buyers in Turkey and later in other parts of the world. Beko engineers developed several types of dishwashers, including built-in, portable and compact desktop models.

Beko engineers managed to produce low-budget dishwashers, limiting sets of the machines’ programs. This allowed supplying high-quality, yet cheap machines with basic functions. At the same time, the company created some limited lines of dishwashers with advanced function sets and higher prices to satisfy the needs of other client segments.

Beko paid much attention to safety issues. Most Beko dishwashers have a special leak protection system that protects important parts of a machine from water and prevents rusting. The system blocks water supply as soon as leakage is detected.

Beko also attracted a lot of consumers being one of the first producers who offered a special washing program for kids’ dishes. Using this program, a dishwasher conducts intensive treatment of children's dishes and then rinses them in hot water.

Being oriented on countries with lower economic level, Beko presented energy-saving machines. Their energy classes are A ++ and A +. Having simpler construction, most Beko machines have a noise level of approximately 49dB. Such configuration helps to make the price of the products lower, while the difference in noise of most Beko dishwashers and similar machines of more expensive brands is slightly noticeable.
