Special recommendations

Indesit dishwashers are one of the most reliable low-budget appliances. Most Indesit dishwashers have an electronic display where an error-code appears in a case of any problem. Most minor errors can be fixed without the help of a professional, while the producer recommends calling a client’s support department for consultation and information.

History

Indesit brand’s history dates back to 1930. The company’s founder was an Italian entrepreneur Aristide Merloni. Later the company was equally divided between Merloni’s sons. The company was oriented at producing early electric equipment for homes and farms and was highly appreciated for the top-quality of its products.

The company became popular after launching lines of low-budget appliances for the kitchen, including several types of dishwashers. In order to satisfy the needs of different clients’ groups, Indesit presented portable and built-in machines in traditional white or metallic colors.

Indesit engineers created several features, which differed their dishwashers from others. Most machines that were issued after 2010 were equipped with a delay time start that allows setting the most comfortable time for washing dishes. Later Indesit presented an eXtra collection of dishwashers with an additional feature called an extra wash. The eXtra collection is designed for utensils of a bigger size. Pots, pans, stew-pans fit in Indexit eXtra machine, making in useful for cafes, restaurants, and hotels.

In 2014 Whirlpool Corporation acquired Indesit, keeping its name and logo unchanged. Every year, Indesit factories produce around 14 million units of household appliances, including dishwashers.
