Special recommendations
Samsung equipment is sensitive and can be easily damaged. That’s why it’s recommended do install machines in dry, cool, and well-ventilated rooms where they will be protected from a crush. The producer also recommends using high-quality detergents to minimize the negative impact on a machine’s parts. Some useful recommendations are provided with a written instruction, that’s why the producer recommends reading it carefully before installation and usage of a machine. In the case of a malfunction, most Samsung dishwashing machines show an error-code on a display. It’s recommended to unplug a machine and shut off the water supply when fixing it. It is also recommended to entrust the repair to a specialist or to call Samsung client’s support manager if an error appears repeatedly.
History
Samsung Company was founded in 1938 in Daegu, South Korea by Lee Byung-Chul. The company was involved in producing different products; however, later it became associated with producing and selling electric equipment and appliances only. Today, around 75% of sales of the Samsung groups are electronics. The first kitchen electronics produced by Samsung appeared on Korean market in 1974. After becoming an absolute monopolist in Korea, the company started exporting its products to other countries. Samsung entered the US market in 2005 which was followed by a great success of the company.
Samsung’s dishwashing machines had high functionality. The manufacturer launched several lines of electric products that varied by price and by a number of functions and important features. Budget models had a slightly limited range of functionality and noticeably higher noise level.
Most Samsung dishwashers were presented in white or silver colors. They also differed by capacity, size, and installation type. Samsung presented built-in, portable, and compact models. Most dishwashers had an antibacterial mode and an intensive rinse mode that made machines baby-friendly and recommended for people with a high risk of allergy.
Samsung developers paid attention not only to machines’ software but also took care about their convenient design. The machines were spacious. Large pots and pans could fit in the chamber easily. The developers also added a separate shelf for forks and spoons and a department for cutlery.
Presenting low power consumption models became a winning turn for Samsung. Samsung dishwashing appliances are highly economical in terms of water and electricity consumption. In order to create more secure equipment, Samsung engineers equipped appliances of middle and premium classes with a sensitive water leakage sensor. If the sensor determines any sign of water leakage, a machine blocks water intake and stops working.
